The Special Case of Draco[]

If The Contingency Plan DLC is installed, Draco The Contingency Plan becomes available as an agent. Unlike all other agents, Draco's Neural Pattern Grid The Contingency Plan augment prevents Draco from buying skill upgrades[6].

Instead, Draco upgrades his skills by using his unique augment to scan the corpses of dead guards. Each scan will provide a random permanent skill upgrade. Draco requires scans from 15 different corpses in order to fully upgrade his skills.

Draco's skills can also be increased by installing any of the Brain Chip augments (each of which will set a particular skill to level 3). Interestingly, Draco's augment will ignore the presence of the Brain Chip, and allow the skill to go beyond level 3. Be aware that drilling the Brain Chip will reset the skill it affects back to level 1. Generally, there are better uses for Draco's augment slots.

Notes[]

  1. Skills can only be bought in-between missions.
  2. Special exceptions: Installing a Brain Chip augment will set the level of a skill to 3, regardless of what it was before. Drilling the augment out will set the skill to level 1.
  3. An agent is not pervented from holding more items than what their Strength skill suggests - all agents can hold up to 8 items. However, doing so will cause the agent to become over-encumbered, reducing their maximum AP by -1 for every item over what their Strength skill allows.
  4. In addition to guards, drones can also be stolen from. Drones usually have a small amount of PWR that can be stolen (it's best to not think how that works), but can also have items too.
  5. The bonus of Anarchy level 2 does not require you to be behind the unit being stolen from, it can be done from any adjacent, non-diagonal tile. This includes stealing from the tile directly in front of them.
  6. Drilling Draco's augment out will allow him to buy skill upgrades like any other agent.
